Privacy Policy
Short version: the calculator does not phone home, the contact form goes to a real person, and the ads are the usual mix you would expect on a free site. Last updated 2026-07-09.
Does the calculator send anything anywhere?
No. Every dropdown, the wheel count, the ZIP field, all of it runs in JavaScript inside your own browser tab. Nothing about your vehicle or your inputs travels to us, gets stored on a server, or attaches to any profile. Refresh the page and it is as if you never touched it.
What happens when you use the contact form
The form on the contact page routes through a third-party delivery provider (Web3Forms) rather than our own mail server. Whatever name, email, and message you submit reaches us that way, and we hold onto it only long enough to reply and, where relevant, log that a figure got corrected.
Ad and analytics cookies, briefly
Running a free site means running ads, and running ads means Google and its partners set cookies to gauge what you have looked at elsewhere online. Google Analytics does something similar for traffic patterns on this site specifically. Two places to manage that: Google's Ad Settings dashboard for ad personalization, and aboutads.info if you want the fuller vendor list.
Cookie consent, region by region
Visitors from the EU, the UK, and Switzerland see a consent prompt before anything beyond strictly necessary cookies gets set, and that choice sticks until browser cookies get cleared. No matter where you are browsing from, a message through the contact page is how to ask what data exists about you, get it corrected, or have it removed.
Do you sell any of this?
No, and we have nothing worth selling in the first place. The handful of outside services involved (analytics, the ad network, the form provider) only see what each needs to do its narrow job, governed by their own policies rather than ours.
A note on age
This site is built for people who own and maintain cars, which rules out anyone under 13 as an intended audience, and we do not knowingly collect information from that age group.
If this page changes
Edits here get a new date stamp at the top rather than a silent rewrite. For anything unclear, the contact page reaches a person, and pricing methodology specifically lives on the editorial standards page, not here.
